I am a watercolor artist, painting whatever draws my attention visually Vivid color, pattern and texture excites me.

Using bold composition, my paintings can draw you from across the room. Walk up close to enjoy surprising detail. Much of my work is realistic, but the background can be very abstract. Light and color are strong attributes in my work. The red apple is never just red.

No subject is too challenging. When asked, “What do you paint?”, it is safe to say, “Whatever I want.”  At my age, this is the way it should be.

I love wildlife and nature. Living in Florida is a dream come true.  All year round, there is much opportunity to be outside with a camera ready.  When I travel exploring a new environment is exciting, giving me new inspiration.  I paint life in all its richness.
